Transport

Community Transport Services Tasmania Inc

Community Transport Services Tasmania is funded by the Home and Community Care Program (HACC) to provide social and non-emergency medical transport to the frail aged and younger disabled, enabling independence and quality of life. CTST is supported by Volunteers who drive eligible clients to their point of destination. CTST does not have wheelchair accessible vehicles in the south (but this may change in future).CTST can provide transport locally or anywhere in the state. The volunteer drivers will take clients shopping, to appointments, for social visits, transit to airport, picking them up and dropping them off at home. It is necessary to pre-book: you need to book as far ahead as possible. Last minute bookings may not be able to be accommodated. Carers should accompany their children.
